[Announcement] February 2010 Blog Challenge Thread

Hello All!

The February 2010 blog challenge question has been posted on the Blog Challenge Group site here.

You have until February 28th, midnight EST to post your blog entry.

This is a great way to practice your blogging and gain exposure for your own business. The monthly winner receives a *fantastic* book from the VAF library, the honorary badge...and, bragging rights!

Judging and the Rules

Our judges will look for clarity of response, following directions, good grammar, punctuation and creativity.

Please remember to number your post in the title. So if you entered for January’s response and posted #1 in the subject title then February’s response would be ‘The Title #2’. If you posted two responses for January than February’s subject title would look like this, ‘The Title #3’.

No more than two responses are permitted per month. At the 6 post-mark you will receive the 6-post VAF Blog Badge as depicted in this thread New VAF Blogging Challenge Recognition Program!

You must be a member of the Blog Challenge Group to participate so if you have not already enrolled, please do so here

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to pop in here and urge everyone interested in blogging to take part in February's Blog Challenge post as listed here.

We had some wonderful entries from January from our group members who are now one step closer to receiving the 6-post blog badge and the February Blog Challenge Badge, and bragging rights!

I am in the thought process on this one. I have no desire to write a book so this is taking a little more to write. I think I will just sit down and bite the bullet.

I am still letting my blog post simmer too. My problem is, I have way too many ideas for books that I would like to write, that I have to decide on one single idea for the blog post!

I may give this one a pass Janine. I really don't want to write a book. If I were going to write anything it would be a short story about my dad's inspiring faith while being terminally ill.

Serita, you can write about a short story in lieu of a book. That would be fine. Many writers publish their short stories.

I'd love to hear from some of the new people who have recently joined the Blog Group...we hare 85 members strong so far!

This is so cool. Thank you so much Janine and VAF You know, I must tell you that while I love to write ... blogging had always been a real challenge for me. I joined the VAF Blog Challenge group to literally help me with my blogging efforts. Before I joined the group, I had a blog or two here or there, but found it hard to come up with topics and never really remained committed to the blogs I was writing.

I look forward to the monthly blog challenges, because it helps me to focus on a particular topic, enables me to strive to become a better writer and it is yet another great way to get to know and chat with fellow VAF members here on the forum.
