I am wondering as I get more involved in my web/blog site, if I can keep coming up with interesting things to blog about every day? Is it important to post something on my site EVERY day? What does everyone else do? Also, I am trying very hard NOT to post links of articles that others have written, but sometimes I find it difficult to honestly come up with interesting stuff on my own?!?!? Anyone else have this dilemma? HELP!

Hi Tina - It's certainly a huge challenge to blog every single day. IMHO, unless you are hoping to make a living off blogging, once a week is enough. Put yourself in your reader's place. Wouldn't you rather read a great post once a week than an uninspired post every day?

Bottom line: you want to be active so the search engines don't forget about you. So post once or twice a week, that will be fine.

I plan to do once a week and then do more if I have something I really can't wait to share or that's time-sensitive, news etc.

I figure if I at least post once a week then it's not so hard when things get busy. I also write several blog posts ahead so I have plenty in reserve in case I get writer's block - lol!

thanks for the input! You definitely have a great point!! I do want to stay on top of the searches, but again, once I get busy which is the main goal here, then I really won't have time to post anyway!!

Do any of you use other articles from other sites, and link them on your sites? What are your thoughts about this?

I am new to blogging but I am blogging once a week, and I also sometimes write a few articles so I am ahead of the game. Or like it was also mentioned if something exciting comes up I would blog more often. There are also the other social media, writing articles, and keeping the website up to date and active. Lots to do. If I do once a week for each of them then I am basically working on social media every day.

I try to blog everyday that I can. I mainly use it as a marketing tool to promote my site. I am a 100% against spamming so I find creative ways to promote my business for free. I am a specialist in SEO and I know that when I create a link from a major site to my site, I bring my site up in the Google ratings. I even use my signature in my posts on the forum to promote my site because I am putting a link to my site each time I post. Great question, Tina. I too have been finding it difficult to find the time to blog. I initially made a commitment to myself to post a new topic each month. Maybe once I get better at it and better at juggling my time, I will post more frequently.
