I've been thinking about starting a blog. I don't know where to begin. If someone has a list of steps I welcome the info

Another concern of mine is that I don't know what to blog about. I want to keep my readers' attention and I want to gain steady traffic.

First you have to get a site for your blog. Blogspot, blogger, wordpress, etc. And you have to have content. What I would do, if i were you (what I did starting out) is look around at different blogs that are out there. You want to blog about something close to your field, you want to be seen like you know what you are talking about. There is a section on there that has alog of the VA's blogs in it and you can start there. Also, if there are people you look up to like mentors (I have Chris Brogan, Ducttape, and some others, I read everyday), if they write something that hits for you, write about it and track it back to them.
