Default Blog Link Exchange/Advertising
Hello,

This question is actually for a client of mine who is a business coach who has a blog. He wants more exposure to his blog and wants to advertise his website/services/blogs.

I'm not quite sure where to start. He is a business coach, so the obvious choice would be business websites. I seem to be running into most business websites that are run by a coach - so it doesn't seem that a competitor would be interested in advertising for him.

Does anyone have any suggestion of where to start? Other than randomly looking up business webistes I'm not sure what to do.

Thanks,
Candy

Hi Candy, generally the best place to start looking would be Google but of course, there will be random websites coming up and you will have to filter one by one.

Candy - Could it be that your keywords need work? Using 'business websites' is probably too broad. Perhaps you could work with your client to more precisely describe the ideal customer. And you can work on a certain demographic without calling it your 'ideal client.' Like, search 'sign maker businesses,' or 'dentists in Michigan,' and seek to connect with that specific crowd. You may have to dig deep, and make sure the client gives you enough time to do the research. These decisions should not be make too quickly.
