Hello!

We had a terrific turnout last month for VAF's Blog Challenge with Jules Burnell of SunRise Virtual Solutions ending the year with her winning post My Ideal Clients All Have This Disease!.

Also, Janet Barclay of Organized Assistant who posted The Benefits of Joining a Local Virtual Assistant Networking Group won the 6-post badge!

The prize for winning the challenge is a wonderful business book, a badge and bragging rights.

As you may or may not know, we have been running a monthly blog challenge contest for some time; however, participation was light for several months prompting us to consider termination of the activity.

After some conversation and consideration from members to keep the contest afloat, it was decided that in 2011 we would run the Blog Challenge contest on a 3xs a year basis instead of monthly as this proved to be successful this past December.

Be on the lookout for a new challenge April 1st. We are working on an additional prize, along with the book, which I will announce.

But the contest will only continue if we have participation and posts from members. So if you have a great idea for a post, please consider the following schedule to ensure that you get your post in on time for the contest.

The new blog challenge schedule is as follows:

April 1
August 1
December 1

Thank you Janine for your welcome. I am so glad to be back and participating in the forums again. It feels good that so many have welcomed me back warmly. I'm really enjoying interacting with everyone on the boards again.

I am so darn happy you decided to keep the Blog Challenge Contests alive, Janine!! You'll be "hearing" more out of me for sure.

Anyone that hasn't started blogging, I urge you to enter the next contest; you never know, you might get a very unexpected and pleasant surprise and actually win. Like me! Hello All!

I know this is a bit premature but I wanted to send out a reminder that we are about 5 weeks away from launching the new blog challenge contest on April 1st.

Obviously I can't wait.

So if you have an idea for a blog post that is waiting to be written, I'd like to suggest that you save the idea for the April 1st Challenge!

The topic will be 'pot luck'...so you can write about any topic YOU desire!

In addition to a new book, which will be given away to one lucky winner, there will be an additional prize which I will announce on April 1st.
