Wow - what a list! Now there's no excuse for a week of blog silence

A few of his suggestions though (like writing about what you ate for dinner) may not be appropriate for a VA business blog - or, does anyone disagree?? Do you think there's room for that kind of content on a company blog? Maybe....

Thanks so much for posting this Brianna!

Wow. That's a great post!

Thinking up blog topics is not my strong suit. But, now, thanks to this list I'll have no excuse.

Thanks Brianna.

I love these suggestions, not only for when I have a VA blog, but also for a personal blog that I already have. I run out of ideas quickly!

Awesome list.

The idea of writing about what you ate for dinner made me laugh but after a minute or so I came up with the idea of incorporating the "want to get home for dinner" into a post about reasons to use a VA.

It's early but I've had 3 cups of coffee so my mind is whirling.

Yeah, I think he was talking about both business and personal. Either way, there's lots of good stuff!

I don't know...maybe no one cares what I had for dinner?? Haha!

Well there you go! Good segway Christina
With or without dinner posts this list is a great place to go when you've got writer's block or are trying to get a few posts done in advance.

Thanks for the list, I plan to refer to it often. I'm always looking for new blogging ideas.

Depending on your personality and type of networking you do I think it is okay to combine personal and business on your blog. I wouldn't suggest going on and on about your kids or what you had for dinner but adding a few fun facts or trivia in about yourself is another way for people to get to know you. When people know you they are more likely to trust you. I think about my blog and online social networking sites that I belong to kind of like the the modern golf course. It's a way for people to get to know me on a more personal level, to get to know the person they are going to be trusting their life to basically. When I say Life I mean things like important passwords, bank information, etc in VA land.

My blog is business but it is also very random. I've had many people tell me that they like reading my blog because they never know what they are going to get.

Here is a blog that I think does a great job of combining business and personal: http://beyondmom.com/

Great resource Brianna! Offering blog ghostwriting services to several clients, this will certainly come in handy.

Cheers,
