Mary - My client is blind so I have had to do a lot of research so that when I communicate with her I can make her more comfortable with my abilities.
I have learned so much from working with her. She is an advocate for those with disabilities as well as a speaker and writer. So, I now write so that she can read, for expressions I don't use LOL in a sentence I instead use (laughing) or (grin) or (smile). Putting them in parenthesis makes the expression stand out.
It has been a wonderful experience
