So as I was browsing Craig's List one day, I came across this ad in the "Free" section. When I looked at it my jaw hit the floor!
There was a guy in a neighboring city who was giving away a Xerox Document Centre 230ST because it didn't work, and his wife wanted him to get rid of it. Being the computer and electronics geek that I am, I immediately shot him an email.
I got the unit, brought it home, and within an hour had it fixed! I am now the proud owner of a very expensive piece of equipment, and I got it for FREE! This thing does everything but kiss me goodnight... copies, duplex scan and print, collates, sorts, staples, and so much more.
So the best part was that it came with a full toner cartridge in it, and two additional brand new ones still in the box. These cartridges alone are over $500 a piece! Each cartridge prints more than 25,000 pages.
