Editing, Etc. is here!

Hi, my name is Bethany Lee and I have been playing around with my baby: Editing, Etc. (www.editingetc.com) for a few years now.

I should have used my stay-at-home-mom time more productively. I'm back into the 9-5 office world and now I REALLY find my Self lacking in time.

But, I have been moonlighting doing various proofreading jobs (my passion) and I really want to make 2008 the year, as 8 is my lucky number (I got married on 8-8-02!)

So, this is my intro. I am a poet at heart, and I've developed my editing skills over the years and have come to find that I much prefer to edit than to write (for business purposes). I have also been working as an Adminstrative Assistant/Receptionist in Accounting firms for over 5 tax seasons now.

I have bookkeeping skills, but I just don't know if that's work I want to do.

Though, I would like to cater to accountants/CPAs as I know how crunched for time they are and I understand their lingo and processes...

My website currently is geared towards Editing/Transcription type services, but I am going to give it a u-haul so that it is focused more on the Virtual Assitant aspect which is the career direction I want to pursue.

I know what I'm doing in the virtual world and I spend a lot of time here. It seems that a lot of people are still intimidated by the internet and don't know how to navigate it. I would love to put my skills to use for others.

Also, I have a very pleasant phone manner and would love to use it more often on behalf of clients.
