Hello all,

well, why do I want to be a virtual assistant? A lot of reasons. My husband is still in College and it seems that we move every two years which does not look good on my resume and also does not allow me to work a long time in a job. Also, I am originally from Germany and use the internet a lot to communicate with my family back home so why not use it for work? Additionally I am getting tired of job hunting. I left my most recent job two weeks ago and it seems hard to find another full-time job. In addition to applying for a full time job, I have applied also for some hourly work to hold me over, but it seems that I can't even get jobs like that Very frustrating.

I am playing with the thought of working online/from home and having my own business for a long time, but wasn't really ready to commit myself to it, now being out of a job I think it is the perfect time

I can't wait to start reading through the forum and hopefully will find lots of good advice.
