Focus on what you can give them -- for example a FREE CONSULTATION! The words "free" or "save" usually catch the reader's attention and teases them enough so they flip the postcard over to read more. The back side of the postcard can list some quick bullet points and your contact information.
I love postcard campaigns, but I avoid making the front wordy. I usually use a logo or a great high-resolution image with a catchy phrase.
I saw another post on the forum where a VA used her business card as the return addess and encouraged clients/potential clients to cut it out and save for later reference -- great idea.
