I'm in the same boat and this is a process I'm working through. Until I'm ready to launch full-time, I'm still in a regular job I enjoy, but want to move out of in the next 6 months. I agree with the posts about being careful to not tell too much information regarding my schedule (I'm able to check email/phone anytime during the day, so in that sense, I'm always available for the VA business).
