Do any of you offer payroll services to your clients? I always say I don't want to then someone will come along and I get a small payroll account again.
Anyway, last week one of my clients had an issue with his payroll company withholding taxes incorrectly for an employee and I had to deal with that issue. The company is in one state but does work in multiple states and this particular employee lives in a different state. Very confusing but I found a great website that explains
multi-state payroll taxation issues very clearly. So, I wanted to share.
Seriously, though, I hope you don't have to deal with these issues yourself.
