What does it mean when something comes up on Google Alerts?
I have a Google Alert set for my company name and it came up today in my google alerts for one of the pages on my website. I know that I've gotten other alerts for my company name (like when I post on here
) or when I've created a new profile on a networking sight, so that makes sense to me when it comes up then. But I don't know that it means when a specific page to my website comes up on the alert.
Maybe I just don't fully understand what happens for something to get picked up for the alerts. I have also have it set for Virtual Assistance and Virtual Assistance and it seems like sometimes the same sights come up multiple times- does it have to do with how much traffic those sites are getting?
