Default BOOK REVIEW - Seven Second Marketing
Seven Second Marketing by Ivan Misner, PhD, is a must read for VAs who are looking for an easy way to generate buzz about their businesses.

This book is about creating a “memory hook”, which is basically a tagline that captures the interest of your target market and helps them remember who you are and what you do. The purpose of a memory hook is to help your business stand out among the competition so that your company springs to mind immediately when potential clients (or their friends – and we all know how important word-of-mouth marketing is) need services that you provide. Seven Second Marketing is chock full of examples from entrepreneurs who talk about how they came up with their memory hooks and how the hooks have helped them generate new business. This book primarily discusses using memory hooks during in-person networking events, but they can also be used in your written marketing materials.

You may be thinking that you already have a tagline and therefore don't need this book; that's what I thought too. Now that I've finished reading it, though, I've come up with an entirely new tagline that I think is catchier and more memorable. If you feel like you could use some help standing out in the minds of your potential clients in order to generate more business, this book is for you.

This paperback book contains 159 pages and can be purchased through Amazon.com for $11.16.
