Update:

I received the nicest email from Naomi who is the Blogger/Writer of IttyBiz thanking me for posting the link to her site here yesterday. I was completely shocked, to say the least! She said she had been getting alot of traffic from the forum and stopped by to check us out, saw the thread about her site, so she just wanted to say thanks! Even more shocking was that it was a REAL email from a real live human, not a form email sent automatically from a computer program like I've gotten when I subscribed to other sites and blogs.

Needless to say, I'll definitely be checking out her site from now on, not only because she's a great writer, provides great information and she's hilarious, but also because she took the time to say thanks. She appreciates people reading her blog and takes the time to say so. "Thank you" is a really powerful phrase. It really made my night to hear something nice and positive for a change.

This brings up a really good question - when was the last time you took the time to thank your clients (or subscribers to your blog) personally? I know I'm going to try harder to show my appreciation to my clients.
