My Notary license expired too. My plans are to reinstate it and offer the service in my business. I think of it as an added convenience I can offer to my local clients. Here in TX we can get around the flat fee schedule by 'including' it into our service fee (our time) and travel expenses.
Tonya: I have read in different areas here on VAF that many VA's screen their calls by letting it go to voicemail to avoid these interruptions. Some have added that they include in the announcement how often they check there voicemail and/or how soon they will get back with the inquiring party. I love this idea and keeps me 'in control' of my own business and more importantly, it keeps me on track with the project I may be working on. Something to think about?
