I cancelled my land-line a year ago and use Skype and a mobile. I have a UK number for UK clients (I live in Spain) - means if they have to call me it´s at the cost of a local UK call. I also have that number forwarded to my mobile if I am away from my desk. Otherwise I use Skype for all outgoing calls - and I can´t believe how cheap it is (even to those who don´t have Skype). I had looked at a Magic Jack so that I wouldn´t need to be tied to the pc to make/receive calls, but nobody could tell me if it would work over here.
