One of the best resources for Wordpress plugins was just shut down by its webhost. I'd like to offer up a few resources for browsing the hundreds of plugin available to Wordpress users!
Note: Make sure you have the correct version of Wordpress for any plugin you download and activate. You run the risk of severely messing up your site so be careful!
Another note: To install a plugin, use your FTP access to find your wp-content folder, located wherever you are hosting your Wordpress-based site or blog. This could be in a folder in your root directory, so look carefully. Within the wp-content folder, find the plugins folder. Download the plugin to your computer, then copy the folder into the plugins folder. Login to your Wordpress backend, go to Manage --->Plugins and activate the new plugin. If the plugin is configurable, you should see a new menu button for it in your plugin bar!

Thanks!
