Just wanted to offer my two cents. I'm still currently working at my full time job as a real estate paralegal, but have been marketing my business towards other law firms in and around Calgary. Luckily, thanks to my husband, I met with a lawyer recently who just opened up her own practice and is quite interested in a virtual assistant (lucky for me!). This has also led to another possible client, who I meet tonight (another lawyer in Calgary). It is amazing what marketing can do.

The way I have presented myself to them is by my business brochure and an outline of my experience as a legal assistant. It has seemed to work so far!
