As Lynne stated, there are things we do for attorneys that don't require that level of training, but it really depends on
what kind of paperwork she is asking for help with.
My recommendation would be to simply ask her outright what she needs help with and be upfront with your abilities and skill set. She will be far more appreciative if you are honest about your capabilities and it will save both of you from headaches in the long run. If you can't help her out, you can still offer to help her find someone else who can. Clients are often impressed when you do this as it shows a level of professionalism they sometimes don't expect and usually guarantees an ongoing relationship one way or another.
