I unfortunately have to start off part-time. I work full-time (8:30 to 4:30) and attend (2) 3 hour classes each week for my Master's Degree and on top of that I am a mother to one child. I am starting off my business now but I am taking it step by step and I am hoping to be fully free from working for someone else in about 2 years - maybe less. The thing that scares me tho is that my job gives me benefits and I do not know how I will afford them if I go on my own. But on the same notion I just cannot work for anyone for the rest of my life.

My current boss knows I am in the process of trying to start my own business and she is great and supportive.
