Re: What's My Niche
Cheryl - You know, really, a niche is the specific corner of the market where you fit in; the particular kind of business or consumer that needs and uses your services and that you market to. Your skills, which you listed, are very applicable to many industries. Defining a niche is helpful in that it narrows down the market segment you're addressing when you advertise or do public relations or otherwise try to sell your services. Instead of the whole world, you market to accountants in Atlanta, or beauty salons for celebrities, or whatever.
A good way to identify a profitable niche for you is to consider things you're attracted to, outside of your work and everyday life. Or perhaps you can build a niche among people you've worked with previously. There are endless possibilities
