Yes, if possible, make it personal. Even if you mail merge in ms word and leave a BLANK where the name goes that would be good. This way, you could possibly write in the name yourself which makes it personal.
Also, try sending now as a HOLIDAY GREETING and Introduction to who you are - I may do that too O
